What is AUCT?
AUCT is a premier online auction platform that connects buyers and sellers for premium items. We provide a secure and transparent environment for conducting auctions with features like escrow payments, seller verification, and 24/7 support.
How do I create an account?
Click on "Register" at the top right corner, fill in your details (name, email, password), and verify your email address. You can then start browsing and bidding on auctions immediately.
Is AUCT free to use?
Registration and bidding are completely free. Sellers pay a small commission fee (5-10%) only when their items are successfully sold.
Bidding & Buying
How do I place a bid?
Navigate to the auction detail page, enter your bid amount (must be higher than current bid + minimum increment), and click "Place Bid". You'll receive a confirmation and email notification.
What is auto-bidding?
Auto-bidding automatically places bids on your behalf up to your maximum amount. The system will incrementally bid just enough to keep you as the highest bidder until your max is reached.
What happens if I win an auction?
You'll receive an email notification and the auction will appear in your "Won Auctions". You must complete payment within 48 hours. Once paid, the seller will ship the item to your address.
Can I cancel a bid?
Bids are binding and cannot be cancelled. Please bid carefully and only on items you intend to purchase. Contact support in exceptional circumstances.
Selling
How do I start selling?
First, complete the KYC verification process by submitting your identification documents. Once verified, you can create auction listings by clicking "Start Selling" and filling in item details.
What is KYC verification?
KYC (Know Your Customer) is a verification process where you submit identification documents (ID card, passport) to prove your identity. This builds trust and is required for all sellers.
How long does verification take?
KYC verification typically takes 1-3 business days. You'll receive an email once your account is verified.
What are the seller fees?
We charge a 5-10% commission on successful sales (varies by category). There are no listing fees or upfront costs.
Payments & Escrow
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and e-wallet payments. All transactions are processed securely through our payment partners.
How does the escrow system work?
When you win and pay for an auction, your payment is held in escrow. The money is only released to the seller after you confirm receipt of the item in good condition.
When do sellers receive payment?
Sellers receive payment after the buyer confirms delivery or 7 days after shipping confirmation, whichever comes first.
Shipping & Delivery
Who handles shipping?
The seller is responsible for shipping the item. Buyers and sellers agree on shipping method and costs before the auction starts.
How can I track my order?
Once the seller ships the item, they'll provide a tracking number. You can track your order in the "My Orders" section of your dashboard.
What if the item doesn't arrive or is damaged?
You can open a dispute within 48 hours of delivery. Our support team will mediate and ensure fair resolution. The escrow system protects your payment.
